We are so pleased to have been awarded a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund for our new project Good Death, Good Grief.
Our Good Death, Good Grief project aims to create more opportunities for open conversations about death, dying and grief in Waltham Forest.
Since launching our North East London Death Cafe two years ago we have been overwhelmed by the need for people to get together to share experiences and talk about death, dying and grief.
This funding will enable us to run more events in the borough like Death and Grief Cafes but also information and awareness-type events about end-of-life care planning and grief and loss.
Are you able to help us with our project?
With this funding, we would really like to engage with local residents who are digitally excluded as currently we are mainly connecting with residents via social media.
If you are involved with any local community groups in Waltham Forest who you think might be interested in working with us, please do get in touch.
