I am delighted to be launching our community interest company: Creating Conversations along with Co-Director Alberta Gutteridge.
Alberta and I launched the North East London Death Cafe two years ago and, 20 events later, we are overwhelmed by the need for people to be able to get together to share experiences and talk about death, dying and grief.
Our aim is to create more spaces and opportunities for these very simple, human and necessary conversations. We also want to offer specific information sessions about topics such as planning for the end of life and grief & loss. To do that we require funding – and to secure funding we need to be an organisation.
Creating Conversations CIC will allow us to do this.
